You might call Marvel Rivals as an imitation of Overwatch, creator NetEase earns praise for finding creative ways to appeal to its eager and dedicated fanbase. Enter Lady Loki, a completely new costume for the current Strategist hero Loki, providing players a faithful to the comics depiction of the Asgardian trickster god(dess).

A Reskin of Loki, Not Hela

Contrary to some predictions and fears, the previously teased Lady Loki costume is not a skin for Hela. Instead, it is a complete visual overhaul of Loki himself, complete with fresh voice lines. Judging by the official preview, Lady Loki keeps all of Loki's signature powers: Mystical Missile, his trickery skill, and Doppelgänger. The only change is her new appearance, designed to appeal to an audience eager to spend their in-game currency.

Hearing and Seeing Lady Loki

Here is a look at Lady Loki in action, accompanied by a taste of her VO, performed by voice actor Abby Trott. It's worth noting Trott also voices Magik in Marvel Rivals.

The character's dialogue and onscreen presence add a new dynamic to the well-known playstyle.

Now that NetEase has opened the door with this gender-bent skin for Loki, the Marvel Rivals community is already considering future possibilities. Popular ideas now include:
