Jones stated the individual in question was the father of her children, and it is known she has kids with Rice, whom the Chiefs selected in the 2023 draft. Police Reports Reportedly Unavailable No official complaints were on file in the Kansas City suburb where the alleged abuse is said to have taken place. Rice's Prior Legal Issues Rice was absent for the initial part of this NFL campaign following an NFL suspension for his involvement in causing a multi-vehicle accident on a Dallas highway that left several individuals hurt. Rice was given 30 days in jail and probationary supervision after pleading guilty to felony charges.
